Quoc has been in the fitness industry for over 12 years. He started training at the age of 19 and knew he was hooked once he began lifting weights. This was the era of bodybuilding magazines, supplements, and icons like Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger as inspirations. After starting with a more traditional style of hypertrophy-focused training, he transitioned into sports-specific training as his goals shifted toward touch football.
Quoc played club-level touch football and represented Vietnam Men’s Open at the TRL World Cup. From sports-specific training to functional fitness, and now to calisthenics, strength, flexibility, and conditioning, his goals have evolved over 19 years of training in the gym. His new passion is flexibility and skill-based work, particularly hand balancing.
Learning flexibility and skill-based movements as an adult was quite challenging—he wasn’t flexible at first and had never balanced a handstand in his life. Fast forward five years of flexibility and skill training, and he has unlocked a new level of flexibility and some impressive bodyweight skills along the way. His main focus now is longevity through movement, body composition, nutrition, breath work, and cold and heat exposure. He’s always learning new information to help unlock not only lifespan but also healthspan.
Being healthy and fit requires work, just like anything in life. Do the work now in order to live a healthier and more love filled life.
